Jan chose the most exquisite of top London hotels for her bridal preparations, The Ned in Poultry. As I walked in, unaccustomed to such incredible hotel stature I felt just like Kevin from the Home Alone film series when he’s lost in New York!! I provided wedding photography for Jan and Jonny in a stunning London suite with just her bridesmaids for company and an incredible hair and make up artist (@weddingdaymua) the room remained calm and relaxed all throughout until the last 15 minutes when Jan realised she still needed to get on her Enzonia dress and vail! After making her way to Islington town hall, London via an Uber, we arrived whist a band were making their way into Islington Assembly hall for a gig that night meaning there were lots of people to walk through and admire Jan on her way.
After we had made our entry to the hall and Jan was ready to make her way into the ceremony room, Jonny was very excited to see his stunning bride and get married to the love of his life. The ceremony itself was very short, formal and full of HUGE smiles from everyone in the room. After Jonny had say he does, he wants to, he can’t wait and he loves loves her after the couple made their exit they were desperate for the legendary confetti shot on the steps of the hall! After group photographs were complete seconds later the big red double decker bus (the wedding special) which had been arranged by Jan & Jonny to take all the guest to The reception at
Upon arrival at the Guildhall Jan and Jonny decided they wanted to do their couple photographs around the guildhall and embrace the culture of the vibrant London city. After being welcomed into the Guildhall and celebrating with bottomless champagne the speeches were given before dinner to put everyone in a relaxed, chilled out mood ready for the finest steaks, triple cooked chips and vegetables. Simply mouthwatering!
Well what can I say about the party – with Jonny bringing out his gun fingers as part of dance moves and Jan enjoying every second of their first dance together they proved quite the hit on the dance floor. Surrounded by the ones they love from all over the world this multicultural, intercontinental party really did throw up all the sick disco moves in the world!
