As soon as lockdown restrictions were lifted the dream team had reassembled for the first styled shoot before the wedding season of 2021. With the suppliers involved desperately itching to get back to work we all came together for what happened to be an incredibly insane styled shoot. With Stretton Manor Barn as the chosen venue, a beautiful new and exclusive barn venue located in Stretton, Chesterfield we knew that this was going to be something special as soon as we got the okay to begin. With the girls from Rustic Rose Events setting up three different tables, 1 an intimate table for six with dry flowers, candles, glassware and beautiful detailed touches whilst on another a more elegant green with real flowers long thin candles, a few pillar candles and tea light candles we mainly focused our attention on capturing the detail around the bride, Alice and the groom, Ollie. Stationary was on point as well, again supplied by Rustic Rose‘s sister company Rustic rose Wrote the invites and stationery were beautifully presented on top quality professional paper, which gave the finished feel and look a touch of class. Bride and groom for the day with friends away from the shoot Ollie and Alice so they already were at ease after the initial awkwardness of being friends for so long coming close for the first time shooting together. We had three beautiful dresses from Dress Me Pretty Bridal Room based in Hinckley all of which were very different and lended themselves to the barn feel and look that we have set up for each layout, with accessories supplied by Pretty Stories to complement the quality of the dresses and the incredible hair that Gemma from Gemma Harris Hair Design was able to create leaving the Bride for one shoot with her, ‘bangs’ and the other an stylish up-do.
Two creative and very different cakes were supplied from All The Good Stuff Bakery which were situated one in a dark corner, illuminated by the most beautiful window light, and the other one was placed amongst the dried table set up as though it was for an intimate wedding but both of the cakes showcase to what they could do. I was able to create to the maximum. We were fortunate enough as well, to have the most incredible florist involved, The Wild Atelier Florals, who was able to build as a moon-gate at the venue out of beautiful foliage and later on in the day add stunning flowers to it for an alternative look But not only this we were lucky enough to be produced with three amazing bouquets of flowers, button holes and also flowers for the table scapes.
All in all it was a stunning day where everybody was so desperate to get back to full-time work and prepare for the wedding season of 2021 without having forgotten how to do things right! What a day it was.
